Heritage and Beliefs:

I am half Native American: Cherokee (Deer Clan). When I was 14, 15, 16, I went to live with the Tribe and prepare for the Rites of Manhood. At age 16, I went through the Rites, which included a survival exercise .... 6 weeks in the mountains, living off the land. This was a defining event in my life, preparing me to be a Real Man. Perhaps these defining events were what made me so strong.

A loving and spiritual life is important to me. I study my Native American beliefs, Buddhism, and Unity. (Unity is a scientific and rational approach to Christian ideals, without all the church-imposed myth, imagination and nonsense.)

Scientist and mathematician by training, with additional background in business.
